TruFlo specialises in compact spring assisted inline Check Valves that prevent Water Hammer and reverse flow and insure long and trouble free operation.
Nozzle Check Valves
With our Nozzle Check Valves, the disc is spring assisted resulting in a short closing stroke that closes the valve in the low milli-second time span before column separation occurs. This therefore substantially reduces the potential for water hammer on both the upstream and downstream sides of the valve.
Our Nozzle Check Valves are available in two design configurationsand, in sizes DN50 to DN1200 and for pressure rating of PN10 to PN40 Higher pressure ratings are available on request.
Both designs have a low headloss characteristic relative to the length of the design. Further, both designs are available in a standard Fusion Bonded Epoxy Steel construction with a Stainless Steel 304 or 316 trim or alternatively, in full Stainless Steel 304 or 316 construction. Both designs have a metal to metal seal design. Our Central Shaft design is also available with a soft seal option.
CheckFlo Nozzle Check Valves provide the industry with a high quality range of valves that are optimally designed to have a short face to face, are light weight and quick closing. Our Nozzle Check valves are 100% locally manufactured ensuring short lead times.
Silent Check Valve
Silent Check Valves similar to Nozzle Check Valves, are spring assisted with a short closing stroke. However, they differ from Nozzle Check Valves in how they recover losses across the valve.
Our Silent Check Valves areavailable in sizes DN50 to DN1000 and for pressure Rating of PN10 to PN40. They are a cost effective solution for waterhammer problems in applications where slightly higher headlosses are tolerable in comparison to Nozzle Check Valves.
CheckFlo Silent Check Valves are 100% locally manufactured ensuring short lead times.
Foot Check Valves
Our Foot Check Valves are based on the design of our Silent Check Valves and are supplied as standard with a Strainer that has a 120% full flow area to prevent any restrictions in flow. Strainers are supplied Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated or, Galvanised or in full Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
Slim Wafer Swing Check Valves
There are many low head applications such as irrigation, industrial and reticulation systems where a cost effective Check Valve is required. CheckFlo provides its Slim, wafer check valve design specifically for these applications.
Our range of Slim Check valves are available in sizes DN50 to DN600 and for Pressure rating of PN10 to PN25. Slim Check Valves are available in fusion epoxy coated steel as standard but can also be supplied Galvanised or Nickel plated or, in full Stainless Steel 304 or 316 construction.
CheckFlo Slim Check Valves can be supplied with a spring loaded option for more rapid closure of the disc to minimise the potential of waterhammer.
